CLASS DESCRIPTION
Level 1 Tumbling
Will introduce and work drills for handstands, Round-offs, Cartwheels, Walkovers (Front & Back). These drills help students understand form and technique needed to master various round-offs, a cartwheel, and walkovers (front and back) correctly. Students enrolling in this class MUST be able to do a cartwheel and round-off. This makes it much easier for students to advance to the next skill level.
Level 2 Tumbling
Will introduce and work drills for back handsprings, roundoff back hand springs and series back handsprings. These drills help students understand form and technique needed to master a back handspring. Students MUST have mastered Level 1 skills or have a standing back handspring. This makes it much easier for students to advance to the next skill level.
Level 3 Tumbling
Will work various drills to learn punch fronts, round-off tucks and round-off back handspring tucks. This will help students understand the form and technique required to master these skills. Students will also work various drills for standing back tucks. This makes it much easier for students to advance to the next skill level. Students enrolling in this class MUST have a Standing Back Handspring and Round-off Back Handspring
Level 4 Tumbling
Will work various drills to begin their back handspring to layout, x-out, whip through to various level 3 skills. This will help students understand the form and technique required to master these skills. Students will also work various drills for standing back tucks and standing fulls. Students enrolling in this class MUST have a Standing Back Handspring Series, Round -off Back Handspring or Round-off Tuck. This makes it much easier for students to advance to the next skill level.
Level 5 Tumbling
Will work various drills to begin their standing full, full twisting layout and double full. Also, jump combination skills to standing back tucks. This will help students understand the form and technique required to master these skills. Students will also work various drills for standing back tucks and standing fulls. Students enrolling in this class MUST have a Standing Back and Round-off Back Handspring Layout. This makes it much easier for students to advance to the next skill level.
