What type of programs do you offer?

If it’s related to gymnastics, we offer it!  Beginner thru advanced recreational gymnastics classes, as well as competitive teams and beginner thru advanced tumbling classes.

Additionally, as a USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic Training Center, we train some of the finest gymnasts in the country.  Our USA Gymnastics Men’s and Women’s Junior Olympic competitive team program, known as CHAMPION GYMNASTICS -TEXAS, ranks as one of the best in the nation.  We also offer an amazing secondary competitive avenue for women via USA Gymnastics Xcel team program, who also compete as CHAMPION GYMNASTICS -TEXAS.

Which class is right?

Our beginner classes are separated into age divisions to ensure optimum learning for our students.  We take into account the child development stages when we create our progressive curriculum. Whatever level your student needs, we have the perfect place for them!

Advanced Recreational Class Schedule

 

Preschool  Gymnastics: 10 months – 5 years

45 minute Classes $90 per month

Mini Tots: 10 months – 18 months, Coming Jan 2019

This captivating, actively involved class is geared towards your little one’s exploration and motor skill development. Through teacher-led activities, both parent/guardian and child will be given the opportunity to learn and progress skills that will aid in your child’s growing physical development at their own individual pace. By engaging your child’s senses of sight, sound and touch, we will strengthen their cognitive awareness, while establishing a level of comfort and trust in a safe, social setting.

Tiny Tots: 18 months – 3 years

This super-fun class is an exciting way to introduce your child to beginning gymnastics. It is an interactive class uniquely constructed for our youngest children which engages both the child and parent/guardian, as the coach leads your child through numerous gymnastics events. This class is geared towards the development of gross motor skills, balance, coordination, and all-important listening skills.

Fun Tots: 3-4 years

This is a terrific class for children that provides both structure and fun as they progress in beginning gymnastics. We keep your child active and engaged, as they are rotating through various gymnastics events and acquiring the building blocks for an excellent foundation in gymnastics. This class is geared towards increasing their coordination, flexibility, balance and core strength as well as their listening and socialization skills.

Fit Kids: 5 years

This high energy and fun class is geared towards perfecting the basics while rotating through the various gymnastics events. It is focused on the detail necessary for successful skill progression, ensuring your child has an excellent platform to advance upon in gymnastics. This class is aimed towards increasing their flexibility, balance, coordination and overall strength. 

 

GIRLS RECREATIONAL GYMNASTICS:  6–17 years

55 minute Classes $90 per month

Level 1

This class is built for the beginner to intermediate level gymnast, teaching the basics necessary to acquire new skills on all four gymnastics events: vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise. The class allows for children to improve their sense of balance and coordination while developing flexibility and strength necessary to advance in gymnastics. Advancement upon coach recommendation only.

Level 2

This class is built for the intermediate level gymnast with some experience, geared towards building upon the basics to acquire new skills on all four gymnastics events: vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise. This class allows for children to develop core-strength and control, as well as flexibility and endurance necessary to progress in gymnastics. Advancement upon coach recommendation only.

Level 3

This class is built for an intermediate to advanced level gymnast with experience, geared towards precision in basics and acquiring new skill combinations on all four gymnastics events: vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise. This class allows for children to further develop full body strength and flexibility as well as balance and control to perfect and master more challenging skills. Advancement upon coach recommendation only.

Level 4

This class is built for the advanced level gymnast with experience, geared towards those who wish to be challenged with new skills and skill combinations on all four gymnastics events: vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise. Gymnasts will perfect technique while focusing on form and control of landings for both learned and new skills. This class will further develop full body strength, flexibility, balance, and endurance. Advancement upon coach recommendation only.

90 minute Classes $130 per month

Level 4 Advanced

This class is constructed for the advanced level gymnast with considerable experience, geared towards those highly motivated who wish to be challenged with more difficult skills and skill combinations on all four gymnastics events: vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise. Gymnasts will perfect technique and form on more challenging skill combinations, as well as begin to start routines. This class will develop muscle memory, full body strength, flexibility and endurance. Advancement upon coach recommendation only.

BOYS RECREATIONAL GYMNASTICS:  6–17 years

120 minute Classes $130 per month

Level 4

This class is constructed for the advanced level gymnast with considerable experience, geared towards those highly motivated who wish to be challenged with more difficult skills and skill combinations on all six gymnastics events: floor exercise, pommel horse, still rings, vault, parallel bars and horizontal bar.  Gymnasts will perfect technique and form on more challenging skill combinations, as well as begin to start routines. This class will develop muscle memory, full body strength, flexibility and endurance. Advancement upon coach recommendation only.

Pre-Team: Not currently available

This class is constructed for the advanced level gymnast with extensive experience, geared towards those highly motivated and disciplined. Gymnasts will master pre-existing skills as well as be challenged with difficult skills and skill combinations on all six gymnastics events: floor exercise, pommel horse, still rings, vault, parallel bars and horizontal bar. Gymnasts will perfect technique and form while working to execute routines and landings. This class will further develop full body strength, flexibility, muscle memory, and endurance. Advancement upon coach recommendation only.

LEVELS 5-ELITE

BOYS & GIRLS TUMBLING CLASSES: 6-17 years

55 minute Classes $90 per month

TUMBLING I: Intro

In this class, students will learn the basics of tumbling and trampoline. The Focus of this class is to build body control, strength, flexibility, and technique. Students will be challenged while still having fun in a positive atmosphere. They will work on such skills as the Handstand, Cartwheel, Bridge, Standing Bridge, and the Round-Off. In order to move up to the intermediate level, the student must be able to perform a Round-Off, Cartwheel and Standing Bridge. Move up will be determined by a coach.

TUMBLING II: Intermediate

In this class, students will be perfecting the basics of tumbling and also beginning to learn the basics of the Back handspring. They will work on skills such as controlled Round-Offs, Bridge Kick over, Front limber, advanced Handstands and Beginner Back handspring. In order to move up the student should be able to perform a Bridge Kick over, Round Off rebound and a spotted Back handspring well. Move up will be determined by a coach.

TUMBLING III: Accelerated

In this class, students will learn more advanced Backhand spring drills as well as Front tumbling Skills. The focus of this class is to get the Backhand Spring on their own. They will learn to connect the round-off to the Back handspring and work on getting the standing Back handspring on their own. They will be challenged to try new things while having fun and being safe. To move up to the next level the student should be able to show a standing Back handspring and a Round-Off Back handspring unassisted. Move up will be determined by a coach.

TUMBLING IV: Advanced

In this class, students will perfect their Backhand Spring technique as well as learning to connect multiple Back handsprings across the floor. More advanced front tumbling skills such as the punch front and front handspring will also be taught in this level. The Back tuck will also start to be taught once the child has perfected a series Back handspring. In order to move up to the next level the student should be able to show a series Back handsprings, standing series Back handspring, Back Handspring Tuck and Punch front or Front Handspring. Move up will be determined by a coach.

TUMBLING IV: Elite

In this class, students will perfect the Back Tuck and the technique of all skills. This level is designed for the elite athletes who are working on more advanced tumbling skills such as Layout, twisting skills like the full and more elite front tumbling. There is no limit to what you can learn in this class, as long as the student masters the right progression before the next skill. This level is fast paced.
